My husband was scheduled to see a specialist in Kamloops, a 90-minute drive from our home. Given the results of the examination, the doctor decided to hospitalize my husband immediately.
At the Emergency desk, the admitting clerk asked for my husband's
medical history and list of medications. After recording the lengthy
details, she sighed, turned to me, and said: "I think it's time to
trade him in."
Before I could respond, my husband nonchalantly quipped: "Isn't that why I'm here?"
